Who we are

Komeback is a trading name of BV RV-INVESTMENTS (Belgian company number 1003.178.849), Slichtestraat 13, 3640 Kinrooi, Belgium. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. If you have any questions about privacy, please email rocco@komeback.com.

What data we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), the subject and your message.

Retreat updates: your first name and email address.

WhatsApp community: your first name and mobile number, so Rocco can add you. WhatsApp’s own terms also apply within the community.

WhatsApp, email or phone: whatever you choose to send us. If you use WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms also apply.

Click counts: we count how many times a day the WhatsApp and contact form buttons are clicked. This is done without cookies and without any data that could identify you.

Please don’t include medical or other sensitive information in the form. We’d rather discuss that in person.

How we use it

Only to answer your question, to arrange a first conversation or a stay and, if you ask us to, to let you know about new retreats or add you to the WhatsApp community. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. Our legal basis is your request or your consent.

Who can see your data

Your message is read by Rocco Vanhove. The website and its forms are hosted by Netlify, which stores the data on our behalf. Netlify is based in the United States; any transfer of data is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Where the site shows Google reviews or Instagram posts, your browser loads those images and texts directly from Google or Instagram.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need to deal with your enquiry, and no longer than two years after our last contact. If you’ve asked to hear about new retreats or to join the WhatsApp community, we keep your details until you tell us to stop or leave the community.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use cookies. Your browser simply remembers whether you’ve paused the site’s animations and whether you’ve closed the notice at the top of the page. That information stays on your own device. You’ll find the details in our cookie policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time, and to object to its processing. Just email rocco@komeback.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
