What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a website can store on your computer, tablet or phone, for example to recognise you on a later visit or to follow what you do online. A website must ask your permission first for any cookies that aren’t strictly necessary.

Does komeback.com use cookies?

No. This website doesn’t use cookies of any kind: no analytics cookies, no marketing or tracking cookies and no third-party cookies. That’s why you won’t see a cookie banner here: there’s nothing to ask your permission for.

This applies to every page of komeback.com, in English and in Dutch, and to the forms as well.

What your browser does remember

Two small preferences are kept in your own browser (local storage, not a cookie):

kb-motion: whether you’ve paused the site’s animations with the button at the bottom of the page.

kb-actueel-…: whether you’ve closed the notice at the top of the page, so it doesn’t keep coming back.

This stays on your device, is never sent to us or anyone else and says nothing about who you are. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings (clear site data).

Counting without cookies

We count how many times a day the WhatsApp, form and contact buttons are clicked. Nothing about you is stored in the process: no cookie, no IP address and nothing that identifies your device. Just the number of clicks per button per day.

Content and links from others

The home page shows Komeback’s latest Instagram posts and Google reviews. These are fetched through our own server; only the photos are loaded by your browser directly from Instagram’s or Google’s servers. komeback.com sets no cookies when this happens.

If you follow a link to WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps or any other website, that service’s own cookie and privacy rules apply there.

If this changes

If we ever add something that does use cookies, such as an embedded video or a booking module, we’ll update this cookie policy and ask for your permission first where that’s required. See also our privacy policy. Any questions? Email rocco@komeback.com.
